Steve McCurdy
Houstonian, Steve McCurdy began writing scripts and plays at an early age and, though he did not consider it writing at the time, wrote much of the material he used while a radio announcer. Steve’s radio days are detailed in the loosely autobiographical “For The Love of Mic”.
His taut suspense/thriller “The Whiteman Scenario” was re-named “Missiles Rising” as it moved to the Kindle pl
atform. This Cold War tale, though fictional, is based on actual events which occurred late in the Nixon administration while the author was a Deputy Crew Commander in the Minuteman Missile ICBM system of the Strategic Air Command.
